The more your groups grow, the more you need to organize them. That’s why our newest release focuses on giving you more organizational tools. Here are the 4 features we’re hoping will make your life easier:
As a group leader, you don’t always have a list of emails at hand. That’s why we’ve created a secure and unique link that you can share. Anyone you give the link to can click on it to join your group. Note: We know you might be worried about random people joining your group. That’s why we’ve also given you the ability to generate a new link, in case you feel it was compromised.
In our effort to help you organize all of your group members, we’ve added a quick way to send an email to a single category. Each category has its own unique email address. Much like your group email address, this gives you the ability to contact your category by sending a message from your own email. Whether you use Outlook, Gmail, etc. – you can send an email to that address, and everyone in the category will receive it.
More Visibility for Owners and Admins
We understand that owners and admins can get busy, and may have other members in the group send out messages on their behalf. Before, only the sender of a message could view the report showing who had – and hadn’t – opened the message. Now, owners and admins can see the report too as long as they were included on the message. Tip: Planning a coach’s gift, and don’t want him or her seeing the message or report? Don’t worry – as long as the coach wasn’t included on the message, he or she won’t have access to it.
More Room for Comments
This feature comes from your requests! There were several users who asked us to provide a higher character count for comments. Now, it’s at 5,000. This helps all of the small groups that are using messages for larger discussions.
